yummy the second one is very nice.
PRND321 Till I DIE
Old Motor: 160whp & 152ft/lbs, 1/4 Mile 15.4 @88.2
M45 + LD9 + 4T40-E, GO GO GO
What else would I need Chris? Internal slave from isuzu, isuzu rear mount, custom front mount, shift cable extension, and clutch from said year??? Do I need to pick up a flywheel from that generation to go with the clutch or will the 2.4 flywheel work?
Internal slave from the Issuzu?
You got the bottom trans?
If so,
90-94 OR 00-02 LD2, LG0, LD9 Flywheel.
90-94 OR 00-02 Clutch, BUT keep in mind for the 93-94, 00-02 Clutch's you will need a Throw out bearing.
90-92 GTZ, Grand Am GT, Cutlass Calais, Z24 (with 3.1 OR 2.3 Ho only) External Slave Cylinder
Everything else that is on here for the NVG Swap.
All and All its clean cut and easy to do. I like the 92 NVG the best, as it have An External slave and still a 3.94 FDR...
Good find

bump...I ordered the second one and what do you know, its the same trans as the first one damnit! I'm so pissed right now that I don't even know what to do since the guy that sold it to me said all sales were final even tho he was advertising that this was the 282 used in the cav swaps.
omg.....im sooooo sorry man...i JUST saw this thread.
the second tranny is MIS LISTED..i ordered one from this guy as well...he wouldnt give me my money back..even though he has it listed for a car IT WILL NOT FIT !!
that tranny is an EXPORT ONLY tranny .. it has higher gear ratios, and while it WILL bolt to a quad/TC block it will NOT mount up to any of our cars..there just simply isnt any bolt holes to attach the mounts..the tranny was designed for a W body VAN in europe
im sooooo sorryyy you got suckered by the same guy i did...i guess all you can do is contact ebay and tell them hes lying about his auction cus i made him aware it was wrong but he never changed it.
i finally gave up and decided to keep the tranny since all the internals are the same for the most part and i plan on swaping the guts over to MY case when it finally blows...since the tranny is pretty much new and unused it is a good source for syncros and such.
i hope you get everything worked out and keep us updated
