Shifting problems 4T45

OK When the car is shut off. i start it, it will not shift from 1st to 2nd untill about 3500-4000K.. But uts like its the amount of time. I can floor it and will never shift, just bounce off the rev limiter. If I gradually accelerate it will shift. Its about a block, when I leave for work it shifts in front of the same house on my street. Now, Once this intial shift is done, it shifts at a normal RPM. although its a frim harsh shift. That in and of itself basiacllt eliminates mech problems such as the front pump. The car is shut off, the problem is back. I know these 4T45s are electroniclly controlled. My Z24 had a similar problem whan I forgot to plug in the IAC sensor after my CAI was installed. Anyone had similar problems? Any easy thing to look for?

My 4t40 has a hard shift or two when it's cold. It doesn't shift until around 3500-4000 on those shifts but it's fine after that. Only when cold though.

Sounds electronic though..

well Mine can be shifting fine. i shut it off literally for 1 second, it will do the same thing.. Only it takes alot longer to shift. Like a couple miles, as opposed to one block when cold. I'm just afriad I'll end up blowing my motor lol
