I'm in the middle of an NVG swap intomy 98 z24. I picked up a new LUK clutch kit from Autozone but the slave that came with it is te one for the Isuzu tranny which will not fit on the NVG. I will post pics in a min. Anyone have a part number for the correct NVG slave?

This is why your suposed to get the clutch kit and flywheel from a GTZ\ Grand AM... ectra...(93-94)
Go back and ask if they can get one.

well crap everything I read said that wasn't an issue an you could use the clutch kits from a cav. I just looked up the slave by itself and its $140
Get ahold of wrench monkey, he may still have a used one from his 98 (Changforabutton's car, the on that first did the NVG swap)
This is why i used a External slave!

just buy the slave for the nvg. tell em u need a slave for a 93 grand am gt 5 speed.
if u get the clutch kit for the nvg u will also need the flywheel for the 2.3ho to mate the clutch to.
the isuzu/2.4 uses a stepped clutch/flywheel setup

The slave is $145. Wonder if they'll let me swap parts and build my own

ya im serious. and go for it, try swappin them out, u might get away with it.
Hell the flywheel for the Grand Am/Beretta is only $60 I may just swap that and use the Beretta clutch.
BTW This swap has been a is a serious pain in my A$$
