Are the Shifter cables on a '96 Sunfire 5-speed (Isuzu) adjustable by moving to the other groove on the cable?
If so, would this fix getting into 2nd gear under a load? I think engine movement is the cause.
That is the only problem I'm having. Tranny has been rebuilt with less than 3000 miles, and had the same issue before the rebuild. Have pulled it back out and checked the syncro's for wear, and for debris in the tranny.

No it is not. Your problem is probably a bad cable.
