The seal on the f23 that must be taken out, is it reusable or should it be replaced.

Which seal are you referring to buddy? Are you talking about the one to access the last bolt to crack the case? If so yes it can be reused. Just seal the hole you make in it when you remove it.

It's the seal that is the 15th pic down on the "My tg and specinstall (56k warning)" forum on the second page. I think on all data when I looked it up they ask you to punch a hole in it, is that really necessary or can you get it out without damaging it?

When I took mine apart I saw no reasonable way of removing it without damaging it. It was 20-30 bucks at the GM dealer. Definitely worth it and not having to worry about pulling the tranny again if it was damaged.

Buy the new one and use SEALER. It's important if you don't want a leak. Don't ask.
