Clutchmasters FX400

Ok so it's time for a new clutch. I was just going to put another spec stage 3 in, but then I stumbled onto the clutchmasters fx400. It seems good from what the website is sayin, but then again, don't all companies try and make their products look amazing. Anyone running this clutch? How is it holding up?

Clutch masters is a good clutch, background is that clutch masters was/is the best clutch. Then SPEC came out with their line cheaper than Clutch Masters.. Everyone went with SPEC.

If you need a Clutch Masters kit, PM us we will get you a great price. If you found it somewhere else, PM us the link we will do our best to price match.

For the numbers you are going for, I would only use one clutch. Bulley.

I don't even know what I'm shooting for. Dependability more than anything. My Spec 3 held up to about 2 years of driving like it's a rental.

I looked up the Bully Clutches, nothing more than a stage 2 available for the ecotec. Any more info about the Clutchmasters, I've heard that they were rather crappy for the ld9, made a phone call after making this post, but there as been some redesign?.?. Anything else on the Bully would be helpful as well.

The person you want to contact to find out anything about Bulley clutches is Raven.

Bully is very willing to do "custom" clutches if it's based off one they already make See if you can get them to make you a "stage 4" styled clutch.

for all the aftermarket support out there for the ecotec i really find it hard to believe there are no clutches available that can actually handle the amount of power some of these cars are throwing down...

what does camron run, curt?

Because way less than 1% of the market is making more power than a stage 2 clutch can hold, and those that are making the big power are normally using custom clutches.

^^^ makes sense but still... the eco has so much support getting a 'custom' clutch should be easy enough.

Your right that the eco gets a lot of support but the f23 doesnt. the f35 does because its in the cobalt.

clutch selection was a big factor in deciding to put the 2.0 bottom end under the 2.2 head in the skwirl.

the lsj (really the F35) has quite a few high clamp clutch options out there from exedy, center force, and clutchmasters.

Personally I also recommend a Bully from Raven.

They're literally willing to do whatever it takes to make you a clutch that will fit your needs.

Stage 4? Stock feel? 4 Puck? No chatter? Holds 600 hp? Oh yes....

I went with the spec 4. One thing about the whole stock feel thing...not for me.

Camron runs a spec 3+.
