I am looking at getting a clutch this winter as part of my goal to run a low 14 next season. I have been looking around to see what people have to say. I live in canada and my supplier can't get spec stuff (which from what I have read doesn't seem to be a bad thing). Anyways, I have read people are happy with their clutch masters setup but I went on their website and not sure if I should go with the FX-100 or the FX-300...I am looking in the range of 250-300hp and want something that is going to last fairly well and also give me decent grip and still remain somewhat daily driverish (although i'm not too worried about that). Anyways, I have also looked into the ACT clutches but can't seem to locate one on the ACT website for a 2000 LD9...I think bully makes some good clutches but they seemed a little pricey...I'm willing to spend 700 on a clutch as long as it is good quality...I would rather pay double for something that is going to last and be efficient than try and save a few bucks and have it break in a few thousand kms. Anyways, I am kinda curious to know if the stage 3 (FX-300) clutch masters would be a good choice (good for daily driving and track use a few times a month) I am also ordering a fidanza lightweight flywheel with the clutch and I am wondering if anyone knows the weight of it (is it around 10lbs/ 9.5 or something like that?) If anyone has any other suggestions that may be a decent setup for me that would be awsome.
LUK.
