i just inherited a project car that is a 97 sunfire 2.4L and 4spd. trans. it needs a new trans and i was wondering what model it might be and also if there is any difference between the 2.2 and the 2.4 trans? i have found a lot of 2.2L trans on ebay which is why i am asking. or if there is someone in the delaware area with a trans for this car may be helpful as well. thanx vinnie
so... are you saying a 2.2 trans will not fit a 2.4?
because I am planning on swapping my auto out for a manual, and I can get a 2.2 for dirt.
