im about to to a auto to manual swap on a 97 2.2l cavi using all 98 2.2 parts
i have gotten many different answers on the ? will my computer work
most have said swap it
but the local gm dealer ship said they are basicly the same and no not really just if i wanted to
i aslo got the same answer from the salavge yard im getting the parts from
but the ase certified tec at our shop is certain that it will not work no matter what and if it did the car would go into limp mode or just trigger the theft system and the thing wouldnt start at all
but a few have said simply cut the yellow and purple and twist together...
i dont care if the check engine light is on it dosnt bother me at all but i really want the engine & the car to work 100%
so if some know for sure please let me know because if i do i just want to go ahead and do it.
