Clutch Movement on the flywheel????

Ok so im putting a clutch in my ecotec and just wondering if there SHOULD a little bit of movement front to back against the flywheel i have tourqed it to specs just wondering if this is normal maybe a self adjustiing clutch i alreday checked and its the exact same clutch that came out of the car


Any help would be great

anyone also when i tryed to bleed clutch the slave cylinder exploded anyone no why

Something does not belong with teh other parts. Are you 100% sure you have the correct clutch? When the clutch/pressure plate assembly is attached to the flywheel there should be no play between the components. Also make sure you installed the disk correctly.

Brand doesnt mean @!#$ if the clutch isnt for your engine and trans combo. Both my 98 and 02 can use a LUK clutch but they are different clutchs. Make sure you have the exact clutch for your engine/trans and that it is installed correct. If you pt the disk in backward it could possibley not allow the pressure plate to clamp the disk against the flywheel.

im taking the tranny back out tonight no make sure the clutch should be the same but ill check im just getting frustarted with this thing
