how much horsepower would you say the ecotec getrags are good for? I'm looking at doing a swap but I want to make sure the tranny can handle the added power from a turbo
It will take all you can throw at it. Make sure you put an lsd of some kind in it or you may have problems with the diff.
I went to a Fiero show the other day. These guys will put anything in those cars. 455 ci V8s to buick GN engines. Most of the V8s were mated to getrags. I would say you are good to go.
