2.4L Engine swap

Hey guys, I just created this account to check out a couple things, but couldn't find specifically what I needed to know from searching around the forum, so if anyone could help me out a little, I'd appreciate it. I'm mostly an import, and Nissan, gearhead myself, so Chevy and FWD is all new to me. haha

I'm swapping an engine for a friend. It's a 99 Cavalier Z24 2.4L manual. The engine was blown, so I pulled a 2.4L out of an automatic Grand Am (Not sure on year, but it's a 5th gen. I think a 99 or 2000) and just need to know if I need to change out anything on the motor before I put it in? Or do all I need to do is bolt on the flywheel and clutch assembely and put them together? I know on anything I've done in the past the bearing/bushing in the back of the motor where the input shaft slides in needed to be changed to a different one from when swapping auto to manual. They look the same to me, but if someone could let me know if I need to change that out as well? The manual tranny is still in the car, so any tips on mating the engine to the tranny while the tranny is still mounted would also be helpful. Also, would I need to make any wiring changes of any kind? I've got most of it figured out and ready to go, just these little details are holding me back from finishing it up.

Thanks!

P.S. Apologies... didn't realize I was still in the "transmission" section.

Completely different forum layout then I am used to. lol
