Just happened recently.

Should u start off by bleeding the system.(p.s how do i bleed it) The reservoir is a bit low.

If that fails what do u check next?

i think you would get better answers in the transmission forum, but you have a very vauge description of the problem. Yes, you can bleed it, but why is air getting in in the first place?

how soft is it?

how many miles on your car?

what trans is it?

yea this will probably get moved to the trans or maint. forum. what is the problem besides the pedal being soft? have you refilled the clutch fluid? do you notice any leaks under the car after its been sitting for a while?

My guess is your slave cylinder is probably bad. That is just a guess seeing as how that is what mine did when the slave went.
