Hey guys I was wanting to change the fluid in my trans myself but by doing that im only changing 30% of the fluid without flushing it at a shop. My question is how can I get more out? Would it hurt to start the car while im draining it for a few seconds to get it all out. Just asking thanks guys
its the other way around. you will leave around 30% of the fluid in the tranny....most of that in the TC. I wouldnt run it without fluid, but thats just me.
i wouldnt worry about it if its never been done. if the tranny's never been flushed, then dont flush it. drop the pan, change the filter, and refill, done.
