interesting isuzu tranny issues...

Ok, so on my way to work last night I stopped at a stop sign, and when I pushed the clutch pedal down the motor whined like the clutch wasn't disengaged all the way.
I shrugged and went on, didn't happen again that night.

This morning, I had it in reverse before I started the car, and it would turn over and then stall.
So I popped it out of gear and it started, and I couldn't get it into 1st, when I finally wiggled it in, it stalled.
I started it again, no problem, backed out dropped my co-worker off, started it back up and it was doing the whining thing again like the clutch wasn't disengaged all the way.
I stopped at a red light and it stalled as soon as I pushed the clutch(it was slowly moving forward till I hit the brakes, then stalled).

I finally got it going, got home. I moved the gear selector around(name? where the shifter cables connect to the tranny).
And when I started the car it was shifting fine, no more moving with the clutch pedal down.

I've been driving it on and off for a few trips now(maybe 5 miles all together).
There is a slight jerk into 3rd gear, and 1st unless I'm completely stopped.

Any ideas?

Does pumping the clutch a couple of times help?

Well after a failed attempt to change the fuel filter(previous owner broke off the 'quick release' tabs). a full tank of gas, and a oil change its all running fine now.
I will never understand my car.
