So I just got done putiting a new clutch slave, cyclinder and throwout, in my 02 LS Sport. But when I go to connect the rod from the clutch master cyclinder to the clutch pedal it goes on but slips right back off. So i added a little bit more elbow grease but to no avail it kept slipping off. It just pops right on right nothing to clip in and hold it in place?
The other thing is that when its connected the clutch pedal stays on the floor the is no tension pushing it foward. So my thought was there is air in the system so I start the bleeding process but the rod kept slipping so I hekd the rod with onbe hand and pumped with another, but it seeemed like no fluid was being pushed out. I then pumped the clutch about 5 times and had a a buddy open the bleeder and spit up a little fluid but not enough to make a difference. This is all its doing no pressure what so ever. Is my clutch master cyclinder broken? Or do I just have alot of air in the system and need to get a hydraulic or vacuum bleeder?
