FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY!!!! putting the cav back together!!! Cheers?
It appears that one axle is half an inch to an inch longer than the other. And I don't know which ones which. It WAS organized till my GF "cleaned" the garage.
There appears to be part numbers on both, one read:TGM3012p1458; and below that it reads
26049007, I'm not getting anything at GM Parts Direct etc.
So who knows which ones which? Halluh fo a dalluh?
On a side note, I can't believe it only took me 4 hours to get to this point, alone, first time.

I think they are both the same... Are you sure the inch/half inch isn't just because the CV's are compressed or expanded on one more than the other? Either way, I'd start with the shorter one on the drivers side, as long as it locks into the transmission, and seals up against the hub, it will work just fine. Also remember that the axle nut will help pull the axle through more.
