so i need to know if the shift linkage in a 2.4 Cavalier from a 95-99 will fit without mods into a 2.4 Cavalier from 2001? if so, how much should i be looking to spend on buying the linkages?
They won't work unless you have the tranny and shifter assembly that are designed to go with the cables.
The tranny and shifter are different.
If your trans is 01, you need linkage and shifter assembly from 00+, if your tranny is 95-99 you'll need the linkage and shifter from that year.
