So I installed my front transmission mount this weekend but I couldn't get the rear done. How do you get to it, I can't find enough clearance anywhere to fit a wrench. I am not using a lift only jack stands. I've heard that some people remove the master cylinder, but I still don't see it making clearance without removing the brake lines.
Got at mine from the top for the 3 bolts i think it was. From underneath for the actual bolt that goes through the mount. Use a long extension and a universal with the socket on the end of it from up top.
Do you remember how long the extension was? I have a 6" but I tried using it and it wasn't long enough. I will probably go buy one.

1)best way is with a couple of long extensions a 13 mm
2)is remove the 2 nuts that hold the master cyl to the brake booster and pull it forward off the studs that will give you a straight shot to the rear mount for the top
bolts
3) the mount stud you need a flex wrench and you can get to that from under the car or through the wheel well
THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE, i have already died once and im still here so lets just leave it on the track
Is the master cylinder sealed? When I remove the nuts and pull the brake booster forward do I risk introducing air into the brake system? Either way I will give it another try this weekend. Thanks Matthew and SCZ2400, you guys really helped me out.
