Will Cobalt SS transmission bolt onto ecotec?

Does anybody know if the Cobalt SS Transmission will work with the L61 Ecotec? I talked to the guys at quaife america and they sell a gear kit that is able to handle a mountain of power for the cobalt SS Transmission. I'm willing to spend the money because Im having a hard time trying to build the adapter plate for the 4T65E transmission for the ecotec engine.

Which SS? The 2.0 or the 2.4...?

I believe it will bolt up for the 2.0, however you'll never fit it between the wheels on the j's.

Well I was trying to get a 4T65E in without rotating the engine forward. I talked to Bates Engineering the other night, Im going to order the adapter plate. Now I need to talk to my fabricator about custom mounts for the engine and transmission. With the steeper gearing, I'm hoping to pick up .5 seconds in the quarter mile. The transmission controller I have is programmable and I think it will work out nicely. No more 4T40E to slip on me anymore!
