ive been using the B&M shift plus for about 6 months now and i just turned it off. its seems like when it shifts like its kinda "in neutral" and it doesnt accelerate so much, then the next gear grabs and you feel it pull you forward. the RPMs will climb faster for a moment, but not by much. i pulled the fluid level check plug and was horrified to see my tranny fluid looked like your typical volkswagen's oil (metalic and dark). i did a full flush on a T-tec machine no more than 8000 miles ago.
and a few days ago i was going to run to the store, i turned onto the mainstreet and it would'nt shift out of first. for a few days after that my traction off light was on.
i'm clueless as to whats wrong and i'm more or less destressed because these problems started the day after i ordered HPT.
at least i now have an excuse to build up a new tranny, pray it holds for 3 months.

check your tranny fluid again. It could give clues as to what the problem could be.

i checked it yesterday at work. its got metal shavings(fine dust) and looks like it has 25-30k miles on it. ill top it off so i can get a cup full out of it and see if i can get a good picture. i call my new color, burnt candy apple metalic. it would look much better on my car rather than in my tranny. lol
its ok. its an excuse to build up a tranny and my GF cant kill me cause i NEED one. and with such a good tranny, i'll need to make more power to get full use outta it
