I'm putting together the trans today and am wondering if you are supposed to pack grease between the F23 TOB and the transmission. I know on the Isuzu you do but this is a totally different TOB setup. Also, does anyone know the torque specs for the bolts that hold the TOB to the trans? Thanks.

i have read that in a clutch I recently bought (to put grease in there)
but I've never done it.. prolly why I have some clutch problems now
Hmm..yeah I don't know for sure. I know you have to do it for the 95-99's. I only have a Hayne's manual for 95-99, so I'm hoping someone who has a '00+ one can help out here.

I have never done this on a getrag or isuzu and never had problems with either. Haynes does not mention it and neither do the clutch kits.

i didn't put it behind my TOB on my 95\1992 munci.... works great. (almost better than my 02's getrag)
