sorry for all the posts but i cannot seem to find out whether all the 5 speed getrags are interchangable between the 00+ jbodies. Because i need to swap but i do not know what years will swap with what. or possibly if an older 5 speed will swap in with the 2.4 beings that its for an 01 z24. also if someone could explain the whole reflash thing that would be excellent!

2000 to 2002 Getrags will work, with exception of the Getrag used in the 2002 j-bodies that have the Ecotec motor.

^ The 2.2 (2200) getrags will also not work, only the getrags from the 2.4's.
