i was wandering if any one could tell me what model tranny i have.............its a 2.2 ohv 5spd and also is there any other transmission besides this one that will interchange like maybe one with longer gears or a performance tranny......and info will be helpfull
Either a Muncie or an Isuzu (Isuzu has a 7-bolt aluminum end cap, Muncie has a 9-bolt steel end cap)......
As for replacements/upgrades.....you got me!?!

judging from your name...and 97 2.2....it has a isuzu.
one more quick question how much tranny fluid does the isuzu tranny hold all i could find were amounts for the auto 4t40e
2 quarts. That's probably when it's dry. I've never had to put an entire 2 qt. in.
