ok i just recently put a new clutch and slave n my car and a used tranny that worked when i pulled it out...well now when i try to back my car up it jerks really bad until it starts moving and its fine.. what could be wrong with the tranny...a friend told me i could of not tightend the mounts up tight enough could that b it???

could be you arent used to your new clutch.....

ok but i drove a car with a new clutch and its never done that to me..? its a stock clutch... idk ill just have to deal with it i geuss

give it a bit, see if it gets better, if you hear clunking noises, etc....have it looked at....or have it looked at now, I cant see the car, or drive it to feel what you are talking about, so I can not tell you if it is a saftey concern or not....

I can not think of anything off have that would cause that in reverse only...other than driver error.

if i let the clutch out a lil bit and back it up that way it wont jerk...but whe i rev it up and back up it jerks like crazy idk its not the first stick i drove
