I have an 03 Sunfire that I bought a little under a year ago. Lately when im at lower RPMs and coasting (with clutch down/nuetral or i guess in 5th) My car makes a weird clunking noise (not like CLUNK) but a lot of little ones like i broke a tooth off of one of the gears or something that is spinning. None of my gears grind and they all shift fine but i kinda of ran it hard when I got it and wheel hopped a bunch of times. (My other car is an LS1 lol!) so i wasnt used to FWD cars. Its a nice car and pretty quick for what it is and I imbarass lots of ricers with it. Also, did these all come with limited slip? Mine has it but my tranny also has a lot of slack in it, like when i take off you can feel it, and if you have it in the air, the front wheel moves about 4-6" before the other one will grab.... What all can i do to fix this or how much do you think it will be? Ive been easy on it and driving on it like this for couple months now (it still drives fine, just makes noises)

its pretty much impossible to rebuild a getrag..anyone who has tried it will admitt once you pull it apart getting the @!#$ back together is complete BS...
That is why when the dealerships dis-assemble the trans they usually order a new or used unit

F23 is a cake walk compared to an Isuzu.
