I'm in the middle of the Getrag F23 swap, and I forgot how the clutch line goes together. Here are some pics of what I am talking about:
I don't know which way the spring and that little black piece go. It fell out, and I have no idea which way is correct. Do I even have all the necessary pieces, or am I missing something?

I have never seen it come apart like that. The line and the part in the middle should be connected. Then it slides into the TOB.

Yeah, it comes apart. There is like an E-clip that holds them together. I lost that which is why it came apart.
