hello all i have a 97 chevy cavalier Z24 with an automatic transaxel i was wondering is it possible to swap in a 5 speed tranny can i use one from a 96 2.2 or will i have to use a 2.4l transmission
you have to use the 2.4 liter tranny I just did that swap myself its great. It takes some fabrication work tho.
I just cant drive 55
can i pull the dash panel out of a 5speed model and mount the gas pedal, break, and clutch to that instead of modifying my existing braceing
if your interested in a swap i have everything im stripping my car down. 5 spd trans under 1 k miles on it . with a spec stage 3 H.D. Clutch. b& m short throw. lemme know
