I was picking up some parts at a junkyard and as I started talkin to one of the owners. He informed me that he had a 99 z for sale. They didn't have a title or anything but I could get the entire car for 400 bucks. As he was describing all of the extras it had he mentioned a European trans. He said the gears were backward or something. Is there such a thing out there? I know about the Toyota Cavalier. But when I went to look at the car it had the steering wheel on the left. Could I get the VIN and figure out more?

Well it was a 99 model with a lot I could part out for 400 bucks. Will let you know when I get it home. Before I looked at the car they said it had some black racing wheels and some aftermarket seats. And when I looked at it, it just had a set of factory Z wheels and some factory seats. Maybe so about the tranny but even if it is just an isuzu it would be good to have.

could be the "europe only" NVG-t550 trans that was being sold on ebay for awhile...... and that was nothing more then a trans from a Quad 4 Lumina Van. I guess it was supposed to have different gear ratios, but they looked to be the same, or close to, the W41 NVG trans.
