Im going to be getting a stage 2 (or 2+) clutch soon. I looked online and all the sites that Have the clutch (spec clutc), have the option for a drilled lightweight pressure plate.
Is this worth the $70? What kind of difference are we talking about with the drilled as opposed to non-drilled?
thanks!
Looking at about 1 lb lighter on the pressure plate... Not a huge amount

^^Would you say its worth it to get it, or save the money?
Im trying to squeeze the most out of my car n/a, but 1lb for $70 doesnt seem like a worthwhile mod to me.
Might gain you a bit more to the wheels, $70 is not too much, it is really personal preference and where you wanna go

Youre right $70 isnt much.... Ill just wait a little longer so I can save for it. Every little bit helps i guess.
thanks for the help!
so, wait... what do they do to save 1 lb.? will it effect durability/strength? if not, why don't they just do that to all of them?
LD9 F23 FTW!!
It cost more and some dont want to spend the extra money for it.
It is strong with this done and causes no isses.

$300-500 is an average price to install a new clutch.
