Alright, this may seem like a weird question, but, my car is 14 hours away from home with a busted a$$ transmission and I need a new one. I can't find anything where the car is (Vancouver Island, BC, Canada), so I'm looking to get one shipped out there. A couple of members have been very cool and sent me emails stating that they're willing to sell me ones that they have kicking around for a damn good price in light of my situation. The only problem is, all of the generous offers have come from the U.S., so I need to figure out rough shipping costs to get one up here. So, blah, blah, blah...

Does anybody know the approximate weight of an entire Isuzu transmission assembly?

if you haven't done so already, I'd hit up bcgme.ca... someone there may know where to get a trans cheap locally.

If my fire was running and I could get across the border, there's a couple down my way (Seattle area), since it isn't though, that's about all the help I can provide
