Recently Driving, ive noticed im getting a lot of free play out of my clutch...do i just need to do a good bench bleed on the master cylinder or is something actually going wrong? the clutch still works it just has a lot of free play..basically the first half of the clutch when i push down feels like nothing but air but then the bottom have i can feel the clutch engaging..so any opinions on this? i would greatly appreciate the help!
Thanks
I would for sure bleed the clutch. not saying this will fix it, but a easy thing to do

well i found out my Master Cylinder, Slave Cylinder are both shot...i tried to bleed the system and the pressure wouldnt build back up..i ened up having to tow it to chevy that night along with taking my front bumper off...now its going to Tampa to get a Brand New Master Cylinder, Slave Cylinder, Center Force Dual Friction clutch, and resurfacing of the Stock Flywheel. Its going to tampa cause chevy wanted 1600$ for just the master and the slave..and the shop in tampa is charging me the same price for everything i just listed..so its not bad..but i need my car!

WHAT!!! The master is $140 from GM, and the slave/TOB is right around $300. If you go through GM partsdirect the master is $76 plus shipping. The TOB is $178. How much is this shop charging you for install?? To resurface a flywheel is $35, and the clutch should not be but around $300, that is around $1000 in labor. I can do it cheaper than that.
