I remove my 2.4 of my z24 1998 engine+tranny BUT i see 1 mounth waz welding!!So i want know if this tranny have number CODE for be sure is ISUZU ou GETRAG or can you tell me difference?Thank sorry for my english!
if you have a 98Z then it is an isuzu
I just swapped from an izuzu to a getrag and the getrag is way better.
I think he is saying one of the mounts may have been welded in after it left the factory, so either a possible swap may have occured at some point, or the original mount broke at some point. I dunno if the 2.4 Getrag does, but the getrag on my 2.2 has a big "F23" cast into it right on top, I don't know if thats a getrag specific thing or what, but if it helps, cool.
