I know there is a topic about whether or not the Ebay short shifters are any good, matter of fact its a huge 2 page argument thats only about 85% about shifters. lol
I read on the thread that theres a LOT of people with ebay shifters that have no problems and love the units.
My question is, is there a "best"? I looked and found that some claim to shorten 20%-30%, some go as high as 60%...
Which would be the best for someone like me, I probably will take the car to a track maybe once a year, I drive a bit hard, Im no ones 5spd diva ( I know my way around a stick and im sure with time I will be a guru of sorts, but for now Im concentrating on work, and building the car).
Im sure that Any length would be fine, but is there... a.... "most popular" or more widely used length? Im leaning towards the 60% shorter version, but Id like to know what size people have and how it suits them, ease of driving and such..
anyone help me out?
thanks!
There is no way it shortens the throw 60%..either go with a real B&M or even the fidanza looks decent..ive even heard the cosmo does well..depends on your budget but ive had B&M and i wont go back..phil
lol its ebay.... the one that says 20-30 and the one that says 60 is probably the same product just 2 different people selling them!...... i also am looking into getting a short throw... although i wish i would have been around for the GP they had here for them a while back...
