I have a 2001 Honda Accord with a 4 cyl., and 5 speed transmission. I apologize if I am in the wrong forum, but I need some advice please. With the clutch pedal depressed, all is quiet. When the pedal is released, there is a loud roar that increases as you rev the engine. When the pedal is depressed, is the throwout bearing turning? Or is the throwout bearing turning when the pedal is released? Based on this symptom, what does the problem sound like to you? Please respond. Thank you.
The throwout bearing is turning when the clutch is released even the slightest bit.
It makes it is in neutral also?
If yes, sounds like the bearing is bad
