Have an '02 that had the 2200 / 5spd combo. Upgraded to the Ecotec. Donor came with an auto. Replaced it with an Eco 5spd, Fidanza flywheel, and Centerforce clutch.
Put it all back together, but no give on the clutch pedal. Open the bleeder valve and fluid shoots out, pedal goes to floor and won't return up on it's own. I can reach down and pull it up, but then no give again.
Do I just need to keep repeating this until I get the air out or did I do something wrong somewhere? HELP PLEASE!!!!
Car runs nicely now, but I can't drive it like this.
So when you push the pedal it does not go down? I'm wanting to make sure I understand first.

My 99 did this after I swapped engines. I ended up vacuum bleeding it and all was well after that.
Did it. Works great now. Sooooooooooo glad I didn't have to pull the trans out to check the slave cycl.
Just got to double check some things and do a couple short drives to make sure I can drive it home from my dad's house in a couple days.
