I have a 1997 cavalier with the 2.4L 5spd in it. I am swapping in the getrag tranny right now, I need to see some pic's of what you guys are doing with the front tranny mount. I've seen a pic of one on here before but can’t find it right now for some reason. I've grinded it down some already but the tranny still hits it, just want an ideal of how the finished product looks. Also do the brake lines get in the way of the rear bracket kinda looks that way?

so i got that front mount bracket cut properly and I am all good to go with that my only other question is what are you guys doing with brake lines it seems to be right in the way where the rear bracket is going to be welded in.

nobody has run into this issue before?

I've done the swap a few times now. Never had a problem with the lines, just pushed them back if in the way. I had a pic somewhere of the mount location and it welded in..... not sure where though.
