i think it's leaking. is there any real way to tell if it is or not w/o pulling everything apart? here's the story:

as i was headed to work two days ago, i noticed my clutch pedal felt like it wasn't engaging until about an inch from the floor, which is strange,because i usually feel resistance almost the whole throw of the pedal. i pull into my parking space, pop the hood, and try to remove the clutch res. cap, and there's a heavy vacuum on it. the res. was completely empty. at lunch time, i toss some fluid in there, it holds it, i know the line is fine. i drive it home, pedal feels a little better, and i bleed it when i get home. a little air, but nothing major. it's now been two days, and i have not lost a drop of fluid. now here's the strange part: every oil change (at least every 10 weeks), i check my clutch res, and it's always full. i've never added anything to it since i bought the car, well over 15,000 miles ago. where the hell did it all go? and if it leaked out before, why isn't it now?
