Hello everyone...
New to the board and wondered if there might be an expert around here that can help me identify some countershafts I have.
There is no part number on the boxes and no paperwork.
The only printed information on the boxes counter shafts is "KRM COUNTER SHAFT"
Can't find anything through google except a possibility that KRM may be an abbreviation for "Krama Yudha Ratu Motors" that was contracted to do some manufacturing for Mitsubishi. I'm sure they manufacture for others.
The only other clue is the origin paperwork is from Tokyo....no other info at this time, besides having the counter shafts.
I also am not real keen on metal and don't really know for sure what kind of metal the Counter Shafts are made of.
Also don't know if they are for a car transmission or motorcycle.....could be for something else altogether...
Would post a picture, but don't know how I would yet in this forum...
Could anyone maybe give me a hint on how to go about figuring out what these work with?
Thank you very much for the info to post the pic. Here goes a try.
The counter shaft is approximately 6 and 3/8 inches long and has 13 groves in the most prominent flanged part of the shaft, 19 groves on the second most flanged part, and 6 groves at the end.
