sweet thanks john for your quick reply...
For $50 or so more you can get a 2+ which holds stronger than a standard stage 2, closer to a stage 3, but drives just as easy.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

ok better yet.. how about people with stage 2 clutch with fidanza flywheel on a DD?
see the reason for me asking this is a mustang guy at work had a 800 dollar aluminum flywheel on his stang and he said it warped and i am just courious about this if its beena issue with this clutch and flywheel combo..
I have the Spec stage 3 and Fidanza flywheel and it is very easy to drive. Stage 2 would be easier yet.

I' runing the Stage 2 and the Fidanza Flywheel on my daily driver. no problems. Just make sure to use lock-tite on the pressure plate bolts (and if your kit comes with allen bolts, use the factory ones).

sweet john i will keep that in mind... thanks for this information....
friend of mine had a stage 3 on his Z24 , it sucked for driving , it was like a on-off switch
i was planing to use the stage 2 and stock flywheel in the g/fs cav
light weight flywheels are to picky to drive , let alone race , more so when your used to stock weight
Everybody always has a "friend" who has something.
Anyway, I drive a stage 3 to work everyday and have no problems with it. Same pedal feel with a engagement closer to the top of the pedal. Drives fine though.
Get a Clutch Masters Clutch....also, if your truely planning on Autocrossing alot, then get the Fidanza Flywheel..but if you arent..just resurface your stock flywheel...the only advantage lighten flywheels have is that it is better for autocrossing...but if you doing straight racing, you need a heavier flywheel do to the rotational mass of the flywheel to the Crank....the heaver the flywheel...the more momentum the Crank shaft will keep when its spinning...if you have a lighter flywheel...then the crankshafts speeds are fluctuating and it doesnt help during racing (track)...also...to have a better torque range throughout the rpms....you need the heavier flywheel again cause of the transfer from flywheel to crank..just my two sense.
how does a heavier flywheel give you more torque? I would think it should be the other way around, that's why your car will rev faster with the lightweight flywheel, better torque.
I can understand your point about the lightweight flywheel being difficult to dragrace with but it will still cause your car to be faster unless you just cannot shift at all.
Not bashing at all, just trying to clarify what I've always been under the impression of about lightweight flywheels.
