my cousin has a 98 cav. 5spd. and an 02 cav. in which he is puting mony into to make it nice, whats all involved on these cavs to swap the 5spd over to the 2002 car. i know its possible, just a matter of what needs done. I swapped my corsica to a five spd and whole bunch of other crap. so im not retarted when it comes to this crap. lol so any help would be nice.
i know the axles, shift cables, shifter, mounting brackets, pedals, cut the firewall for the clutch, all the hydraulics for the clutch, trans mount cut and welded?? flywheel and what about the computer?
i know all the stuff on my car just swapped over from a 89 beretta minus the ecu. i also had to cut out the mount and weld it in my car, idk about the cavs though.
anyone know?
the 98 trans was the isuzu, which some will tell you is weaker than the getrag manual which came with the 2000 and up cars. which engine is in each car?

the 02 is a 2200, the 98 is the same but looks like a dif. valve cover. i dont think we'll be concerned about power seeing how those engines have NO balls what so ever.
