im going to be doing a manual swap on my 96 Z and was wondering how much the reflash is at GM, or what would happen if i didnt do it..

well seems how no one else likes to answer these swap questions i guess i will


the reflash is normally at any dealership an hours labor charge....$65-85 dollars depending on the dealership

as far as if you don't get it done you will be throwing a code for all of the trans shift solenoids.....just get the re-flash done...its worth it...........

also the rev points are different, you will idle higher then needed and also when shifting from one gear to another you will stay at a higher rpm b/c the computer does not know whats going on b/c the speedo is reading but the trans is not shifting
