i have a 96 z24 twin cam 2.4 engine and the auto overdrive tranny is beat.looking to replace with a used unit but dont know what years interchange from my 96.the hollander interchange manual tells me 96 only but why 1 year?

is this guaranteed? first time dealing with these model cars so i have to be 1000 percent sure thanks everybody
the only thing u will have to change if its a new tranny... will be the tranny lines, they're about 80 bucks installed
