Sorry I posted this in newbies wasnt sure where it would go I habe done my research and i cant find anyone on here with this problem. If anyone has any clue how to help please let me know.

this is my first post here I was hoping someone can help. I just removed the shift plus from my car (04 cav) and now I have a CEL and when I put the car into reverse or drive it feels like my tranny is going to drop right out of the car. even worse, when i am driving the car shifts gears HARD and my idle is erratic. what can I do to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. The guy who installed the shift plus did a bad job and cut the wires really close to the plug that goes into the tranny and this has been a real pain to deal with any suggestions? the only other mod i have on this car is an intake which i dont think could be the problem considering everything was fine before i removed shift plus! HELP PLEASE! Thanks in advance.

double check the plug for the tranny. When mine wasnt pushed ALL THE WAY IN it goes into safe mode or some crap. Double check that the two wires you spliced into are properly connected and shilded, and the plug and you should be 100% ok!

Well it turns out the problem was that my IAT sensor just happened to go at the same time as i removed the shift +. I cant belive after all these problems the hardest part about fixing this was opening the hood and swaping the sensor! it took all of 30 seconds to fix.
