ok guys, i have an opportunity to buy a 96 cavy with a 5 speed for cheap. i know it has the 2.2ohv motor, but will the tranny still work with my 98 2200? im thinking it will, but not for sure. i have the whole car, so its will be easy to get all the parts for the swap. Anyways, any help or advice would be appreciated, thanx

any help?? i want to buy this donor car, cause for the price its hard to pass it up. it got wrecked in the rear but they just installed a brand new tranny in it. Im wondering about the wiring harness for it. im sure the tranny will bolt up, but would i be able to use the harness from the 2.2 on the 2200? or would i have to hack up the one i have in there?
