nvg tranny and isuzu tob?
Saturday, August 12, 2006 11:55 AM
i did some searching around and oculdnt find anything so ill ask. now i wsa told i could grind down the tranny to make the isuzu tob work since thats what i have. has anyone done this succesfully? im asking because ive ground out a @!#$load of aluminum already and was suprisd to find its just a block....until today, when after about a half inch wall i finally found an opening into the tranny that i now have to get tig welded together. so if anyone has any pics of how they ground it down or if theres a way i can maybe manipulate the tob to fit in there. thanks

lol, did you get an answer?

i can get a tob from a local parts place for 140 cdn, he has to call to double check he can get it but the computer isnt showing anything that would indicate that he cant. but at this point a little more metal removed from the tranny wont hurt things as i already have to weld it up
