hey guys, i just got my fidanza shifter from turbo tech, great service and wonderful shipping time. but it didn't come with a knob. has everyone elses. its an 03 by the way. aaron contacted fidanza and they said your supposed to install the stock knob. this is however impossible since the stock knob is pressure sealed on. anyways. just wondering if everyone elses has come with the knob or if anyone else has had this problem or not recieved a knob with theres
1) Take stock knob
2) Wrap in tape. THICK
3) Place knob on shifter and align it
4) Use your rubber BFH and pound it on
5) Admire your work
Should work for you. That's how I did my stock knob when I cut the stock shifter lever.

He didn't "get screwed." Apparently it was forgotten in packaging at Fidanza and then Aaron was mis-informed by them. I highly doubt Aaron would screw anyone and the same goes with Fidanza. My bet is with Fidanza though.

We talked to shifter (Ron) and he didnt get one and he ordered his almost a year ago. The Fidanza ones do not include a knob. Fidanza states to use the old knob.
Maybe back in the day prior to summer of 2005 they were included, but not anymore.
