New clutch slipping?
Friday, June 02, 2006 12:54 PM
alright i just replaced my clutch in my 95 cavalier 2.2, the stock one started slipping and it was pretty much gone. i put in an exedy brand clutch and now 3 days later...the clutch is slipping. its getting worse. what could be causing that? the flywheel was resurfaced, the disc, plate, and slave cylinder was brand new. and now its slipping. if anyone could help and have any idea how i can fix it, it would be alot of help. and what else i notice was the clutch i pulled out, it really wasn't that bad looking. there was alot of life left on it.

New clutches will occasionally slip. If the problem gets worse, or just continues to slip. Then......

Bad Master Cylinder.
