why does GM have to be dumb.....

why is gm so dumb to put 2 of the same color wires on the tranny.....for an auto.....i need help i had to cut off and rewire the wires on my tranny plug....but i dont think i have them in the right pin out....does anyone have any diagrams that will help me with this....im getting the 2-3 solinoid code like p0753 and p0758....help my car wont shift out of 2nd i need help....???
