Yet another transmission issue

ok, i dont know if it is supposed to be this way or if something is wrong, but when i sit in the driveway and shift from gear to gear it just floats from gate to gate effortlessly, but the moment i try and shift under any kind of acceleration, it has to hang for a second before dropping into gear, and when it goes into gear theres a significan amount of resistance.

as long as i hesitate for a second in neutral it drops in easier, not nice, but easier, and when i try and shift fast at anything above 4500, more noticeably from 1st to second, it grinds going into second.

If i had to guess i would say synchros, any other ideas?

You're shifting an auto..manuals are built so you can decide on gears. Your computer decides what gears are right in an auto. You're having trouble shifting because its not made for you to shift it while driving.

Blown.
